Meeting you and having some days with you, Federico, was the highlight of my many experiences in Italy. It really had nothing to do with the landscape, although the rural side of the country is charming. It has to do with making a connection with people (YOU) WITH LIKE MIND AND CONSCIOUSNESS! I value your respect for your people and the land, and enjoyed your many faceted personality. Qualities like yours allow a stranger in a new culture to feel quite at home, and it’s because you CAN make that possible that my experience made me feel like I have friends whom I can return to visit! I will return, too. The question is “when.”
